SheCareers FAQ

A clear guide to how SheCareers works, what we offer, and what to keep in mind before you apply.

SheCareers is a job-discovery and career-assessment platform designed to help women job seekers discover relevant data and data-related opportunities more efficiently.

We bring together publicly available and employer-provided role information and make it easier for you to discover opportunities based on factors such as skills, experience, location, seniority, and work preferences.

SheCareers is a discovery platform. We are not a recruitment agency, staffing company, or job placement service.

The jobs listed on SheCareers are not exclusively for women. They include opportunities open to the wider data-professional community, with women-specific roles and returnships clearly classified where employers identify them as such.

SheCareers helps you:

  • Discover relevant roles
  • Explore opportunities across companies
  • Identify roles that may fit your experience and skills
  • Find women-preferred opportunities, returnships, and similar programs where these are explicitly identified
  • Access the original job listing or employer application page

Our goal is simple: help you spend less time searching and more time evaluating the right opportunities.

Yes. SheCareers is free for women job seekers to discover and explore data and data-related roles available across India and to use the Career Clarity Assessment. We do not charge job seekers to browse opportunities or access the original application links.

SheCareers Exclusive is a paid service for corporate employers that want to list their roles directly on the SheCareers platform. These employer-provided opportunities are clearly identified as SheCareers Exclusive listings.

Corporates interested in listing roles can contact partners@shecareers.in.

SheCareers does not:

  • Process job applications
  • Accept applications on behalf of employers
  • Guarantee interviews or employment
  • Provide referrals for listed roles
  • Represent candidates to employers
  • Act as a recruitment agency
  • Make hiring decisions
  • Influence an employer's selection process
  • Guarantee that a role remains open or available
  • Charge candidates for access to a job itself

You are responsible for researching the opportunity and applying directly through the employer or the application destination provided in the listing.

No.

A role appearing on SheCareers does not mean that SheCareers, its founders, team, community members, partners, or volunteers can provide a referral to that company.

Please apply through the official application channel provided for the role.

No.

SheCareers helps you discover an opportunity. When you choose to apply, you will typically leave SheCareers and continue through the employer's careers site or another application platform.

The employer controls its application, screening, interview, and hiring process.

Yes.

Job information can change quickly. A company may modify, pause, fill, or remove a position after SheCareers discovers or publishes it.

Before applying, check:

  • Whether the role is still open
  • The employer's official job description
  • Location and work-mode requirements
  • Experience requirements
  • Compensation information, where available
  • The legitimacy of the employer and application page

The employer's current listing should be treated as the authoritative source.
